D344-RL Sensitivity Testing
Connect a standard volt+ohm meter (VOM) to the D306 voltage monitor plugs to check the D340 Series sensitivity level after installation. The voltage measurement decreases as the signal level approaches alarm. This is caused by dust or dirt buildup in the detector head smoke chamber. Refer to the detector head's installation instructions for proper voltage readings.
