The System Sensor HR-LF for Fire Alarm Systems

The Spectralert Advance HR-LF is a two-wire, low frequency sounder designed for wall or ceiling installation in fire alarm systems. This device, part of the Spectralert Advance series, meets the NFPA 72 sleeping space requirements and operates within a frequency range of 520 Hz ± 10% with a square wave tone. It features a tamper-resistant construction and a red color, suitable for wall or ceiling mounting.

The device offers versatility and ease of use with its field-selectable candela settings, automatic selection of 12- or 24-volt operation, and a rotary switch for 520 Hz low frequency sounder tones. It is also electrically compatible with legacy Spectralert devices and compatible with the MDL3 Sync Module.

The device includes a universal mounting plate for wall units and a mounting plate shorting spring that checks wiring continuity before device installation. Installers can adapt devices to suit a wide range of application requirements, making installations fast and foolproof while virtually eliminating costly and time-consuming ground faults.

Please note that the HR-LF model has been discontinued and replaced with the HRL-LF model. Spectralert Advance series offers the most versatile and easy-to-use line of low frequency sounder and low frequency sounder strobes in the fire alarm industry, providing reliable and effective notification in case of emergencies.
