The CD-6B Macurco is a low voltage (12-24 VAC/VDC) monitor that provides three alarm levels using three separate relays for controlling external devices. This helps to maintain acceptable levels of Carbon Dioxide in the beverage and food industries, greenhouses, pharmaceutical, and other chemical processing or other commercial applications.
The CD-6B can be used as a stand-alone unit or connected to a burglar/fire panel. The monitor has a high range of 0-5% by vol. (0-50,000PPM) with a recommended coverage area of 900 - 5000 sq. ft.
The CD-6B provides CO2 detection and automatic ventilation control for buildings in non-hazardous locations wherever 100 lbs or more of CO2 is stored bars, restaurants, breweries, etc. The Awareness Alarm and Alarm 1 Relay is intended to locally warn users of a high level of CO2.
The Alarm 2 Relay and Alarm 3 Relay are intended to sound remote alarm functions to warn building users of high CO2 concentrations. The CD-6B is not compatible with Macurco DVP Control Panels. The three (3) dry contact relays can be connected back t(more...)
