Overview of System Sensor 4WTAR-B

The System Sensor 4WTAR-B is a specialty photoelectric smoke detector from the i3 Series, designed for easy installation, enhanced intelligence, and instant inspection. With its drift compensation and smoothing algorithms, the i3 detectors minimize the risk of nuisance alarms caused by factors such as RF interference and dust accumulation. The 4-wire i3 detectors can generate a remote maintenance signal when connected to the 2W-MOD2 loop test/maintenance module or an i3 Ready™ panel. The SENS-RDR can display sensitivity readings in percent-per-foot obscuration within seconds.

The i3 smoke detector features red and green LEDs for local status indication during power-up, standby, alarm, maintenance, and freeze trouble conditions. It generates an 85 dB temporal tone when in alarm. The System Sensor i3 sounder models, when connected to the RRS-MOD reversing relay/synchronization module, can synchronize the output of all i3 sounders on the loop to ensure a clear audible signal. The detector also features an installer-friendly base and plug-in design, form C relay, in-line terminals, flexible mounting options, Stop-Drop 'N Lock™ attachment to the base, and a removable cover and chamber. This product is manufactured by Honeywell International, Inc, and its country of origin is Mexico.
